Cince

Sta iniziando il periodo più freddo dell'anno e io ho disegnato sul mio smartphone le cince, con la fantasia. Le gelate sono presenti anche in città e capita di vedere  questi uccellini anche sui rami degli alberi di Roma. 

Ho cercato di rendere i colori invernali e il volume piumato. Non ho usato nessuna immagine di riferimento, ma ho sfruttato la memoria fotografica. Perciò spero di non essermi allontanata troppo dalla realtà. 😅 Penso che sia un buon esercizio per tenere attiva l'emisfero destro del cervello. Alle volte, essere troppo logici non aiuta a tirar fuori la creatività. La mancanza di fogli, di tempo e nozioni specifiche, non devono imbrigliare l'ispirazione, non credi? 😉 Infatti essere troppo perfezionisti e dare ascolto solo alle autocritiche feroci, non permette di comunicare un'idea che aspetta solo di essere espressa.

Il procedimento è sempre lo stesso: ho iniziato con un tool pennarello sottile di colore grigio chiaro e ho disegnato le cince e il ramo. Poi, ho aggiunto un livello in secondo ordine e ho aggiunto gli adesivi del cielo e il filtro con il pulviscolo. Ho riempito il colore di alcune forme che mi ricordavano i cristalli della neve, avvolgendoli con un pennarello a effetto pois, sui toni del celeste e del bianco. Mi sono dedicata ai colori di fondo dei disegni e ho sfumato per rendere il volume e la morbidezza. Infine, ultimi tocchi di luce sui becchi, gli occhietti e i frutti e il gioco è fatto! 😊

It has just begun the coolest time of the year and I drew these small birds on my smartphone, according to my imagination. There are frosts in cities too, and it happens to see titmouses on branches of trees in Rome. I tried to render winter's colors and the volume of plumage. This time, there is no picture as reference, but I exclusively used my photographic memory. Therefore, I hope that it is similar to reality. 😅 I think it is a good exercise to train the right side of the brain. Sometimes, to be too logical doesn't allow to bring out the creativity. No sheets around, time and specific notions can curb inspiration, don't you think? 😉 Perfectionism and self-hypercriticism don't allow to communicate indeed the right idea. 

Method of my digital drawing is always the same: I work with levels. I started sketching the subjects with the marker tool, 5 or 6 pixel, light grey color. Underneath, I added the background with some stickers of the App, rendering the Winter sky under a filter of snow. I filled up in light blue some shapes, like snow crystals, and covered with an effect of white pois all over. I painted the pictures with the main colours and I smoothed the shade, giving the fluffy volume.

At the end, some highlights on little eyes, fruits and beaks, and here they are! 😊
