🇬🇧 MANDALA OF GRATITUDE.
I have been thinking about what makes me feel grateful and then I drew this Mandala. Wherever you find a corner you enjoy, well, that slice of the picture is you!
Above, this message was my description of this special mandala, very rich, which I shared with my friends and then, everyone had actually chosen their own image from it. So, I wanted to create something personal and share with people I know. Basically, that's what characterizes the art: artists create and people recognize their life in those works, don't you think?
Well, that drawing was born after a meditation inspired from the cute, little book entitled "Mandalas & Meditations for Every Living" by Cassandra Lorius. In many wonderful mandalas of the book, I chose the one of Gratitude, an odd theme. Actually, we are hardly focused on why we should feel grateful every day: how many free gifts make us become what we love, give us experience and let us find out a new aspects of the world.

For creative people, gratitude is a very delicate question, but it allows to go beyond the block of self-worship. And when the will is stopped by obstacles? Well, the only way to find new lymph form nothing is to love who we are, but also to love all those ones who help us to improve our skills and talents. Then, artists look at the world and those precious values that let them be human, positive and fair; so, they realize how wonderful and wide open is still universe for them.
My mandala of Gratitude just illustrates all that makes me feel happy: nature, flowers, day and night, cities,  bridges and roads which link us together, emotions, solid rocks where to build up anything, the sky and the sea...
Lately, I have been hearing that many affirmed authors of songs, books and pictures confess that they wake up every morning and visualize so many people and reasons for feeling deeply grateful, and this action sets them free to create.
So, if anyone feels grateful for all that comes freely, also creativity finds his encouragement, as once Professor Keating used to quote from Walt Whitman:
"'That the powerful play goes on
And you may contribute a verse.'
What will your verse be?"
